Executive Profile
Biography for Kennedy Akinlosotu, MBA
Kennedy Akinsolotu has managed $10-million budgets, helped myriad of
first-time buyers procure homes, and has inspired countless others to
rise from their less-than-stellar lives to realize the American Dream.
Yet he remains one of real estate’s foremost, down-to-earth fathers,
friends, and colleagues. No, he’s not a rainmaker, but he surely gets
the job done!
Kennedy Akinlosotu, the distinguished husband and father, is CEO of the
rapidly-growing, Nations Realty, LLC., in the Greater Seattle area.
Since the inception of the company in 1998, this indomitable real estate
maven has been forging a decisive path toward a bigger and brighter
future for all of his clients and would-be clients. He has helped to
change, in his own way, the quality of life in the inner city, raising
the bar in the process for better housing for all.
Born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa, he came to the United States in
October 1985. His ultimate goal was to establish a quality lifestyle for
himself and his family. And through hard work and perseverance, he was
able to complete his MBA in 1993 at the renowned University of Nevada,
Reno, graduating among the top 10 students in his graduate school.
His style of leadership keeps clients singing his company's praises, as
in the words of one satisfied client, “What I appreciate the most about
Nations Realty is its focus on customer satisfaction . . . Given such a
positive experience, we now look forward to referring friends and
relatives knowing that they will receive outstanding quality service.”
Prior to being at the helm of his company, Akinlosotu worked full-time
as a correctional officer, while attending school full-time. During this
time he began dabbling in the real estate market just as a hobby.
He purchased his first property in 1988, a process he likens to that of
a roller coaster. But bumpy rides did not deter this resilient man—well,
not for long. “It was so complicated that I almost gave up. Fortunately,
one of my professors encouraged me to complete the process, saying that
in the end, it will be worth the pain,” he said.
After selling his first house in 1992, which fetched a much higher
amount than he had anticipated, he decided to go through the process
again and again. And as they say, the rest is history. This hobby,
tinged with a yen for more money and more properties, has become his
career.
“My passion for real estate is indescribable. My dream is to help other
people realize their potential in the real estate industry,” he averred.
Akinlosotu is married to wife, Doris, and is the father of five
children. He currently lives in Des Moines, Washington
